WHO WILL ACT? ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY · WWA-2.0

Transparent enough to explain.

The Who Will Act? Assessment uses deterministic scoring. The same answer pattern always produces the same scores and profile rules.

Instrument structure

30 scored questions are divided across five domains and 10 subdimensions. Each subdimension contains exactly three items. Response values range from 1 to 5, with selected negatively worded items reverse-scored.

Subdimension scoring

Each three-item raw score ranges from 3 to 15. It is normalized to 0–100 using: ((raw score − 3) ÷ 12) × 100.

Domain and overall scoring

A domain score is the average of its two subdimensions. Overall Action Readiness is the equal-weight average of all five domain scores. Capacity questions such as available time, money, mobility, and current energy never change this score.

Readiness bands

  • 0–39: Orientation
  • 40–54: Preparation
  • 55–69: Participation
  • 70–84: Coordination
  • 85–100: Sustained Contribution

These are developmental bands, not grades of character.

Profiles and barriers

Profiles are rule-based patterns drawn from domain and subdimension scores. They are explicitly current-state descriptions rather than permanent personality labels. Barrier classification identifies a likely design constraint such as uncertainty, consistency, connection, conflict, information, efficacy, capacity, or overextension risk.

Recommendation fit

Curated actions receive a 100-point fit score: 30% growth match, 25% capacity fit, 15% interest match, 10% strength leverage, 10% sustainability, and 10% developmental continuity. A diversity rule keeps the first recommendations from collapsing into four versions of the same task.

Validation status

WWA-2.0 should be described as a structured developmental self-assessment, not a clinically or psychometrically validated instrument. Scientific validation claims should wait for pilot testing, item analysis, reliability work, response-distribution review, and appropriate external validation.

Version disciplineProduct features may change without changing the assessment. Material item or scoring changes must receive a new assessment version so historical results remain interpretable.
